This new laptop for 2017 comes with the latest Intel Core i3-8130U processor, an 8-th generation quad-core Kaby Lake processor. It is also a dual-core processor, meaning it has two processing cores, meaning it can do much more work, and at a faster speed than a single-core processor.
It also very-much has the latest 8th generation Intel Core i3-8130U processor, which available on laptops that are 2-years old.
This laptop also has a very interesting array of 6GB DDR4 memory installed. If you were to go to the Acer website and look up this laptop, you'll see the same amount of memory listed. However, this is a mistake, because the amount of memory that is installed in this machine is actually 6GB DDR4.
Also, this laptop is also totally upgradable, meaning you can add more memory, hard drive, or even an SSD, whenever you want. It also has a great integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 for it's display.
Also nice is the fact that it comes complete with an 8-x DVD drive which allows you to watch DVDs right from the laptop's hard drive. Remember all the thumb drives and CD-ROMs sold for many, many years that had the plastic cases with windows on them? The best part about those is they had a strip of transparent plastic near the edge of the drive and you could put in a DVD, insert it into the drive, and watch the movies.
The laptop does have WiFi, Ethernet, as well as a VGA port, a Mini-Display port, and two USB 2.0 ports. You'll also be pleased to see an HDMI port included as well as a removable battery.
Another nice thing is the full year warranty and the low price. To cap it all off, it also comes with a laptop bag.
