Pros:

  • Comes pre-charged
  • Leak-free
  • Affordable

Cons:

  • Capacity reduces over time
  • Can feel warm to the touch

AmazonBasics pre-charged rechargeable batteries offer a more environmentally friendly option compared to the common disposable alkaline batteries. These batteries are rechargeable up to 1000 times and they have an approximate life of 24 months.

These batteries will maintain a high 80% of capacity after a year of non-use. They have a voltage of 1.5V to mimic the traditional NEDA AA alkaline battery specification and they have a capacity of 2000 mAh. You can use them in devices that require a size AA battery with a diameter of 1.5 to 1.75 inches.

One of the best features of these batteries is that they don't have to be completely discharged to recharge, eliminating the possibility of overcharging that can cause damage to the battery. You can recharge them in a few hours and they will retain 80% of their original capacity.

These batteries come pre-charged and ready to use directly out of the package. Each battery is packaged in a resealable cellophane wrapper and they are vacuumed packed in a box, so you can ship them any place.
