Here’s our review of the Force1 U45WF Drones.
It’s been popular on the market ever since it was launched and so we decided to take a closer look at it for you. Here we go:
- Flies quietly
- Easy to fly
- Has altitude control and headless mode
- Parrot AR 2.0 lets you control your drone from your smartphone
- 720p camera takes nice quality photos and videos
- Sturdy design and contours provide smooth flight capabilities
- Comes with 2 batteries so you can enjoy the drone for a longer period of time
- Can be heavy and bulky for kids
- Camera isn’t perfect
The Force1 U45WF is a good choice for beginner drone flyers for a few reasons. First, the WiFi remote control is easy to handle and provides for an easy learning curve by adjusting the foot on the remote to control the drone. The fact that you can turn on a video stream of the live video coming from the drone on your phone or tablet is also great for the first-timer.
The other big advantage of the Force1 U45WF WiFi drone is that it comes with 2 batteries with 18 minutes of flight time each. This is much more flight time than you'll find on most mainstream drones in this category and it will allow a new pilot to learn some key flying skills, without worrying about a dead drone.
The Force1 U45WF WiFi drone even comes with a few extras like 2 extra rotors and a spare battery, so that the pilot doesn't have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff. Every drone flyer should have a few spares; it will save time in the long run.
The downside of this WiFi drone is that it doesn't have GPS control like the DJI Phantom 4. This is fine if you are a beginner, but if you have the slightest interest in GPS drone controlling, you should look into the DJI Phantom 4.
To go along with the WiFi drone is a neat little app for iOS and Android that lets the pilot steer the drone with their phone or tablet. If you need to go back and review something you just did, you can also review it with the live video streaming feature built into the app.
