This home theater system comes complete with a 200 watt powered subwoofer and two satellite speaker pairs. The speakers are voice-matched to the subwoofer, meaning the two stereo channels (left and right) can be routed to either satellite speakers or the subwoofer for the ultimate in sound. With the use of directional bass ports and phase switches, the subwoofer knows when to adjust its output to properly support the satellites.

It's also upgradable for 7.1 surround sound by using the included additional satellite speakers and substituting the down-firing subwoofer for another. The subwoofer comes with its own bass dial that can be adjusted to dial in the perfect amount of bass. In addition, there is a remote control included for volume control with a subwoofer volume dial and a bass boost switch for both the subwoofer and the receiver.

In addition to the speakers, a receiver is included in the sale. This works to power the subwoofer and the two satellite speaker pairs. It can be powered by a standard power outlet or a wall outlet so you're never without power.

The receiver has speaker terminals that allow for several different options such as connecting to powered speakers or using a higher quality set of speakers. The receiver also has a headphone jack for easy listening and a stereo input jack for a CD player.

I think this home theater package is a great choice for anyone looking to upgrade the sound of their room or even revamp an existing home theater.

This large kit comes with everything needed to put together a 7.1 channel home theater surround sound system. The kit includes instructions, speaker cables, and even dispensers for the speaker lead-in cables.

The 5.1 surround sound speakers and the remote speakers come out of the box ready to be plugged in, but if you decide to not use the speaker, hole-drilling tools are included for for the hole-drilling.

Once everything is hooked up, you can use the built-in surround sound mixer to switch between various audio sources such as a CD player, a tuner, various streaming-audio services, and even a microphone.

The receiver has a headphone and a stereo input jack as well for the option of plugging in a second stereo for a stereo sound. This allows you to listen to music with the receiver and then do something else with the remote speakers.
