Today we'll be reviewing the HTC Vive Virtual Reality System.
In this review, we made things as simple as possible for you to form your opinion.
The HTC Vive is the most expensive on this list, however I believe your money is best spent on it for any VR enthusiast. It is not just a great product, it's the best of the best.
If you're interested in virtual reality, I would recommend looking into the HTC Vive. It's almost perfect as far as its "VR experience" is concerned. All I can really say is that it has the best all-around experience that I've had.
I've tried about 6 or 7 of the VR headsets available, as well as the Oculus Rift, but the HTC Vive wins in my book. The price is not nearly as much of an issue when you realize the incredible package that comes with the headset. You get 2 months of access to all their VR games and apps for free because of the voucher that comes in the box.
The HTC Vive also allows for room-scale VR which is pretty special. You can actually walk around in the VR world with you headset on. Which means you can be standing in one spot in "virtual reality" while looking up at the couch on the other side of the room.
I've been really enjoying the HTC Vive headset and Tilt Brush VR painting program as well, which is why it is the only existing VR system at the moment that made me say, "Wow, I'm impressed". The 4 colorful controllers that come with the headset make drawing in VR a doddle.
I also love the Steam VR platform, which is also built into the Vive headset. It's incredible how all the VR news and updates circle around there. You can also connect your headset to your computer and walk through the world of Skyrim, using your headset to catch items in the world, or swim underwater in the game Bioshock, using the Vive controllers.
Compared to Oculus Rift, it's a feature-rich set of products. You're getting a lot more value for the same price, with the HTC Vive.
