Today we're bringing to you our detailed review of the Logitech MK550 Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse Combo.
It’s been popular on the market ever since it was launched and so we decided to take a closer look at it for you. Here we go:
- Adjustable sensitivity
- Long battery life
- Ergonomic Wave Design
- Great Logitech product
- No Num pad
- Not the most revolutionary item
- Relatively expensive
The Logitech Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse is one of our favorite keyboard and mouse combos. It's an affordable combo that gives you one of the greatest forces of attraction for serious typing. You don't even have to spend a lot of time finding the right keyboard pitch (because it's the right height for you by default) or taking your mouse hand from the middle of the keyboard so you can type on its side.
The keyboard has a classic ergonomic design which is effective because the keys are well-spaced. You get to enjoy a shorter hand travel distance when pressing the keys. The wave keys of the keyboard are also well-spaced so you have to stretch less when typing, which helps protect your hand from any strain that they might suffer from over time. The keyboard curve is also a bonus.
The wireless mouse tracks flawlessly and isn't too heavy, but you also get a laser mouse instead of a cheap plastic mouse. And even though I could, I don't want to discuss the battery life of the mouse. It's long enough to cover you through a couple of years and that's something you can't get from most different brands of cheap wireless mouse.
Several users have also mentioned that while they love the keyboard and mouse, Logitech could improve on its software. I wouldn't let that stop you from buying this combo. The wireless connection is strong and I haven't found any potholes while using it.
