Cons:

  • Hard to find the IR receiver if you mount it behind the TV.

Wireless HDMI Extender Pro has a transmitter side with an all-in-one AV transmitter/receiver and a receiver side with a 15 meter /50 ft range HDMI sender.

The receiver side will up-scale all incoming video to 1080P at 60Hz and the AV transmitter side will output video out up-scaled to 1080p at 60Hz.

Both sides are using a dual-band 5G wireless connection to the wireless transmitter and the receiver. The 5G dual-band wireless connection provides more bandwidth for a more stable signal than the more common 2.4G wireless connection.

In addition to the built-in transmitter and receiver, this kit also comes with a IR remote control.

Unlike many of the other extenders on our list, this one does not require a pass-through source to route the video over the network. Instead, this extender routes the video directly to the display.

The video is also passed upscaled to 1080p at 60Hz. This means there is no need for an additional display to up-scale the video.

The wireless range of this extender is pretty impressive, but you will need a clear line of sight with the transmitter. This does come in handy for installations where you need more distance between the transmitter and the receiver.

The transmitter is also equipped with a loop out port that allows the transmitter and receiver to operate independently of each other.

This is a solid choice for a wireless HDMI extender kit.
