In this article we’ll put the spotlight on the Samsung Chromebook 2 XE500C12-K01US 11.6 Inch Laptop.
It’s been popular on the market ever since it was launched and so we decided to take a closer look at it for you. Here we go:
- Has an elegant design with rounded corners
- Good sound
- It is light weight and thin
- Powerful battery stand by mode
- The camera is good
- Not as fast as it should be
- It has a plastic casing
- Has to use Chrome Browser
There are a ton of Chromebooks on the market these days, as more and more people are becoming aware that Chromebooks are much better alternatives to conventional Windows Laptops. You get a lot of functionality and speed for the price.
And with the Samsung this one in particular, you get it for a reasonable price. The Chromebook has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 pixel LED lit display and is powered by an Intel Celeron N2840 Processor clocked at 2.16 GHz. The discrete graphics are handled by a Intel HD Graphics.
You get up to 16GB of onboard storage, but that's of the eMMC flash drive variety. I would have liked to see this have a SSD, but it's a minor gripe. You get 4GB of DDR3 RAM as well. You can connect this to a Wifi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.
You get a tenth Gen Intel Core Indie graphics and Dolby Digital Plus audio. You have USB 3.0 and HDMI ports on this one. You get a 64-bit combined processor and an Intel HD graphics for graphics.
It also has great sound through HDMI and USB 3.0 ports. It's definitely a reasonable way to go if you need a Chromebook for your business or home office.
